Canada Visa Application Process

Having selected the kind of Visa you want to apply for, you should get the required documents ready. These documents are to be submitted to the visa department of the Canadian Embassy in your home country.

They can be submitted both personally and through a proxy (you need a power of attorney from the passport holder, which does not require notarization).

The validity of Visas to Canada

The validity of a temporary resident visa and transit visa is six months from the date of issue. However, the length of stay in the country is determined by the time specified in the invitations or hotel reservation, or by a decision made by the Canadian Border Guard officer upon arrival in the country. At the entrance, a specific period of stay is indicated under the stamp.

Travelling To Canada with Children

If you plan to travel with children, you need to provide a separate package of documents for them. If the child travels accompanied by one of the parents or third parties, a copy of a notarized power of attorney for the child’s departure from the remaining parent/parents must be provided.
