PMP Certification
In order to become a PMP, you must pass two exams:
- The PMP exam is a 350-question, multiple-choice examination that tests your knowledge of project management concepts. It covers the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK ® Guide). You are required to answer 210 questions correctly in order to pass. This exam can be taken in English or French; however, it is not offered in any other languages at this time.
- The CAPM exam tests your ability to apply project management practices on real-world projects. To pass CAPM, you must answer 66 questions correctly out of 75 total answers. The CAPM exam is available only in English and takes 4 hours and 45 minutes to complete

There are also two practical tests that you need to pass in order to earn this certificate—one on service strategy and another on service design; both tests include multiple choice questions with four possible answers per question (A/B/C/D).
The foundation exam consists of 60 questions with 60 minutes allotted for completion; there’s no time limit for answering each question but you must finish all 60 questions within that hour frame in order to pass successfully
