You can apply to UNH in a number of ways, depending on your needs. Here is a list of the different options you have:

• Online by using our Common Application or Coalition Application. The Common App is an electronic application that allows you to submit one application to over 500 colleges and universities across the country. The Coalition App allows students who attend schools that belong to the National College Athletic Association (NCAA) or National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) leagues to use its online application system for college admissions and financial aid processes, as well as track their progress through these processes.
• Mailing us an application form with your $50 nonrefundable fee.
• Coming into our office at 8 University Place in West Haven and filling out an application form with our staff member there before handing over your $50 nonrefundable fee at the close of business hours every day except Friday when we are closed until after Labor Day weekend!

Take placement tests.

To apply to any of our six schools, you must complete four placement exams. The tests are designed to be similar to the courses you will take during your first semester at UNH. Once you’ve completed all four exams, we’ll send you a letter telling you which level each subject is for and what course(s) would be appropriate for each exam.

These tests are free! You may register online; just make sure that you write your name correctly on the registration form so that we can match it with your scores when they come back from Pearson VUE Testing.

Submit all required supporting documents.

Supporting documents are required to complete your application. All official transcripts (undergraduate and graduate) must be sent directly from the institution(s) where they were earned.

If you do not submit all required supporting documents by the stated deadline, your application will be incomplete and you will not be considered for admission.

• Need-based: Financial need is determined using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you are eligible for federal or state grants, you may qualify for additional institutional aid from UNH as well. Undergraduate Tuition

Undergraduate tuition is $45,000 per year. This amount does not include books or fees. The cost of a college education has increased significantly over the past decade, with tuition and fees at public universities rising by an average of 6% each year for the last 30 years. In general, professors are approachable. They want to help you succeed. The small class sizes at the University of New Haven allow professors to get to know their students and put in extra time for them if they need it. Even if you’re not one of the top performers in a class, your professor will still be invested in your success and will try their best to provide support and assistance when necessary.

The academic rigor at this school is high—the professors here are knowledgeable about their subject matters, engaging with students during lectures and seminars, good at explaining concepts clearly without overloading on unnecessary details (and there’s always more than enough material covered). Professors are passionate about what they teach as well!

The campus is lovely and the people are so friendly.

The campus is lovely and the people are so friendly. I really like how they make sure to maintain the grounds, because it’s nice to know that you are safe when walking around. They also have a lot of different events going on throughout the year, so there’s always something new to participate in or learn about. I feel comfortable here and don’t worry about my safety at all times—there are even security guards patrolling around at night!

The University has been good for me socially as well; everyone is really welcoming and willing to meet new people who come from various backgrounds or countries of origin. They have many events where you can get involved with your community: there are clubs for almost any interest group you might have (soccer teams, video game tournaments), plus large-scale celebrations such as Halloween parties where everyone dresses up together! It’s much easier than I thought it would be coming into college—I’ve been able to make friends very easily here because life at UNH has just been fun overall

There is so much school spirit here! Everyone is so nice!

I believe that the school spirit at UNewHaven is something special. The students and the staff are all so friendly, and you can tell that everyone really cares about each other. I know that when I become a student here, I will make friends for life!

Not only do I learn about the material that I’m studying, but I’ve also been able to take courses outside my major which have been extremely beneficial for expanding my knowledge base beyond just business administration!
