• Master of Business Administration (MBA) – This program is offered in two different formats, either full-time or part-time. Students may also choose from four different tracks: Accounting; Strategy & Marketing; Human Resource Management; Information Systems Management.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) – Offered through the School of Health Professions & Public Health, this program can be completed on campus or online. Old Dominion University Athletics and Campus Life

Old Dominion University has a strong athletics program and is home to the Monarchs, who compete in NCAA Division I as members of Conference USA. Old Dominion University welcomes applications from all qualified students. You must first determine whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student, and then follow the steps outlined below.

Apply online.

To apply for admission, visit the university’s website and click on the “Apply Online” button. This will take you to an online application form where you can fill out your personal information and academic details. Make sure that all of your documents are complete before submitting your application; if they are missing, they will be returned to you unprocessed. Your transcript(s) must include all coursework taken at previous institutions as well as any transfer credit accepted by Old Dominion University (ODU).

Choose ODU if you have attended another Virginia college or university in the past.

If you have attended another Virginia college or university in the past, you can apply to ODU through the Transfer Admission Guarantee Program. You must be in good standing at your current institution, and have a minimum 2.0 GPA to qualify.

Submit official SAT I or ACT scores, if required.

• If you’re applying for financial aid, you will need to submit SAT or ACT scores.
• If you are applying for a scholarship, you will need to submit SAT or ACT scores.

Submit official transcripts from each college or university attended, if required.

If you have attended another college or university since your last high school graduation, official transcripts are required. If the college or university is not located in the United States, it must also be verified by an international credential evaluation agency.

In general, if you’ve earned any college credit (even if it’s from a community college), official transcripts will need to be submitted with your application.

Submit proof of English proficiency, if required.

In order to be accepted into ODU as an international student, you must have a minimum score of 550 on the TOEFL iBT or 79 on the TOEFL PBT. You may also be required to submit proof of English proficiency if your native language is not English and you have not completed at least one year of full-time study in a university program where English was the primary language of instruction.

IELTS: A minimum overall band score of 5.5, with no individual band score lower than 5.0

OPI: A minimum overall score of 60 with no individual section score lower than 60 (Reading/Listening 55; Speaking 50; Writing 65).

Submitting the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is recommended.

The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the application used by colleges to determine your eligibility for federal student aid. The FAFSA should be completed by all undergraduate applicants who are seeking financial aid to help pay tuition and other expenses.

The U.S Department of Education charges a processing fee of $50 per year, but if you apply online, it’s easy to complete most parts of the form digitally and avoid this charge entirely.

There are also three ways to apply: online, paper mail or faxing your application (if needed). The fastest way is online because you can fill out most sections in about 30 minutes. Once you create an account, simply answer questions about yourself and submit all required documents within two weeks after submitting your application—and voilà! You’re done! If you don’t have access to a computer at home or work during those two weeks—or don’t want the hassle of going through different pages on different sites with varying formats—then paper mail may make more sense since it can take several days before receiving an email confirmation from schools once they receive your forms in their offices; however keep in mind that mail applications take longer because they require more time for processing than electronic ones do.”
