Among other things, students have to live in the United States and do a global practicum, which requires them to interact with industry leaders and multinational corporations. Small class sizes make it easy for faculty and students to talk to each other all the time. All of the courses are taught by experienced full-time faculty members and top industry executives who are always good at teaching, research, and working in the field. Executive coaching is a unique part of the program that helps students learn important skills for assessing their own personalities and leadership abilities.

MBA Admissions
Candidates for admission to the MBA program must have a baccalaureate degree from a school that is recognized by the government. Students who want to go to this school don’t need to take a specific undergraduate course. There isn’t a specific course of undergraduate study that these students should take, either. A lot of people who went to college for a business degree also went to college for things like the natural and social sciences, engineering, the humanities, and nursing.
There is a lot of weight given to how well a student did in school, how well they did on the GMAT, how well they did in their jobs, and any other relevant information that the candidate for admission might give to the Committee on Admissions when they apply to the school.
People who want to go to business school have to take the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), which is run by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). As soon as possible, applicants should take the GMAT so that they can apply to grad school. For more information about the GMAT, call 1-800-462-8669 or visit www.mba.com. Scores from the GRE can also be used in place of the GMAT. Applicants from outside the United States must also take the Test of English as a Foreign Language or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exams. These exams are required for international applicants, and they can’t be skipped by most.
The GMAT Waiver Policy
Those who are undergraduates at the Zarb School of Business and have a 3.2 GPA in their BBA program will not have to take the GMAT. Also, Hofstra Honors College graduates and associates with a 3.0 GPA or better will be able to get the test done without having to pay for it. If you’re an undergraduate in business and have a 3.2 GPA from an AACSB-accredited school, you may also be able to skip the GMAT. Requests for waivers will be checked to see if the person is eligible.
Candidates who have worked for a long time in a progressive way may also be able to get around the GMAT requirement. In this case, qualified applicants would be looked at on a case-by-case basis to see if they could get waivers for work experience.
